Ms. Franklin brings 25 years of organizational strategy and leadership development experience to her work with groups and individuals, in the non-profit government and corporate arena, both in the United States and abroad.
Stanford Women in Technology (Stanford WIT) is a community of women, non-binary people, and allies with a mission to advance representation, engagement, and support for women in technology roles at Stanford.
Dr. Sheri Sheppard spoke at the quarterly Women@SLAC Employee Resource Group meeting on October 9th. She involved attendees in an interactive meeting related to career paths and the field of engineering specifically; however, lessons learned from her research have implications beyond engineering. This is an especially poignant talk if you are a member of an underrepresented group or support someone who is.
The Women ERG participated in the "Coffee on the Quad" event on Thursday June 13th 2019. The event was a wonderful opportunity for community building and SLAC employees to become familiar with the various ERG group.
In addition to coffee, bagels and fun games, employees were invited to network with their colleagues and meet ERG representatives to learn more about each group.
